AI-driven wearable devices and health apps are providing individuals with personalized health recommendations and early warnings, empowering us to take charge of our well-being. Smart devices can monitor our health, analyze data in real time, and provide immediate health and fitness tips.

Our devices offer friendly reminders to stretch, move around, breath, drink water - many valuable health reminders to keep our physical and mental well-being at its peak during the day. Our lives are becoming deeply intertwined with AI.

In education, AI is transforming the way we learn and teach. Adaptive learning platforms use AI algorithms to tailor educational content to each student's needs and pace. No longer does education suffer from a one-size-fits-all approach to instruction. A trendy expression often used to critique education systems today compares education’s traditional approaches to trying to force a fish to climb a tree. The message being, each student is unique. And setting the same goals for each of them, and using the same teaching strategies across the board, is not an equitable system. Some students need outcomes relevant to their desires, and content suited to their learning preferences. It may seem counter-intuitive, but incorporating AI into learning actually increases the personalization for students. A personalized AI approach improves learning outcomes by addressing individual strengths and weaknesses.

Educational apps and classroom software can not only offer tailored content streams to students, but they can also automate study schedules and offer friendly reminders to students to help them stay on task. Leveraging AI’s ability to help personalize education has opened the door for a wealth of effective learning apps. Learner specific content can be accessed at home while relaxing on the couch with a device in hand, a truly revolutionary way to support traditional learning methods.

AI is also making waves in the entertainment industry. Streaming platforms use AI to recommend content to viewers based on their viewing history and preferences. This personalization keeps viewers engaged and coming back for more. This type of personalized content recommendation can benefit our lives in so many creative ways.

When AI is applied in this way, it can be used to market advertisements, and help us find products and services we enjoy. When this usage of AI is applied to entertainment, curated shortlists of content that align with our interests help accelerate our interest areas. Having an AI tool that suggests valuable content is a new asset that should be in every person’s digital repertoire. Many media sites will allow you to set preferences, which in turn help focus the content you are being shown. This creates a sense of collaboration between the user and the AI - we can help it, help us.
